The majority of the molasses we deliver is categorized as “High-Test” or “Fancy” grade. Derived from the refining of raw cane sugar as the only product (not a byproduct) High-Test Molasses boasts a high content of total reducing sugars, making this grade of molasses ideal for industrial applications, including distillation, food production, and animal feed.

Produced from the first boiling of sugar cane as a byproduct, Light Molasses features a sweet taste and light amber colour, making it the sweetest grade. Its gentle flavour and smooth texture are ideal for food production uses and as a natural sweetener.

Derived from the second boiling of sugar cane juice as a byproduct, Dark Molasses offers a rich, bittersweet flavour and is dense in minerals. It’s used both in food production and as a nutritional additive in animal feed, enhancing palatability and energy content for livestock.

A byproduct of the final boiling, Blackstrap Molasses is thick and dark with a robust flavour. It has the least sugar content but is high in minerals like iron, calcium, and magnesium, making it a nutritious choice as both a supplement and food animal feed.
